About Us

We didn't start Deckathon to sell games. We started it because we noticed something quietly disappearing — the evening where everyone put their phone face-down on the table and just showed up for each other.

We believe connection shouldn't be this hard to find.

Somewhere between school, work, and a phone that never stops buzzing, families stopped playing together, friends stopped hosting, and "let's hang out" quietly turned into "let's text." Kids grow up more fluent in screens than in board games. Elders sit in the same room as their grandkids, both looking at different screens. We built Deckathon for the opposite of that — for the shuffle of cards, the groan of a bad dice roll, the laughter that only happens when people are actually in the same room, paying attention to each other instead of a feed.

Your life is bigger than your home and your office — so is your fun.

You don't need a fancy venue, a free weekend, or a garden to host a great game night. A dining table, a few friends, and the right box is enough to create what we call your third space — not home, not work, just a place where people gather to laugh, compete, and connect. No more "we don't have time to travel" or "we don't have the space" — a game night takes a table and an hour, and we make sure the right games are one order away.

We make it easy to explore a hobby that's usually hard to access.

Board and card gaming is a massive, wonderful world — and in India, a genuinely hard one to explore. Imported titles are expensive, hard to find, or simply don't ship here. We've built Deckathon to open that world up: a wide, accessible catalogue so more people — not just serious hobbyists — can discover games they'd never have found otherwise, at a price that doesn't gatekeep the fun.

A quick word on what's in the box.

In building that catalogue, most of our products are replicas — carefully sourced, playable, and priced to make board and card gaming genuinely accessible to a wider audience. We also stock genuine, officially licensed titles, and we clearly mark those on their product pages. Our goal is simple: help as many people as possible actually experience these games, rather than let cost or availability keep them on the outside. We'd rather be upfront about this than have you find out the hard way — that's just how we'd want to be treated too.

At the end of the day, we're not really in the business of selling boxes. We're in the business of getting people back around a table.

See you at ours soon.
